Which sucks because I always wanted to get a piece from them but with the LotR & Hobbit Replicas being anywhere from $100 to $150 cheaper it's just not worth it to me since I'm only 24 & would rather spend the difference on another Replica. I haven't ordered from Valyian but I've heard some bad things from a few people including you now. I hate that some people get even worse though & either can't return it or don't have the ability to & just have to eat the loss. The only problem I had before was the Gondorian Shield like I mentioned before, but other than that & this I've been lucky. Ive been fortunate when it comes to swords. Everything else is immaterial unless the number has sentimental value. I’ve always been told that for a serialized issue, 1-10 and the last number of the issue are the only numbers that matter.

Valyrian Steel offered to replace it, but I declined. It doesn’t really pop out at you, but I noticed it real quick cuz I go over everything with a fine tooth comb.lol. I was heartbroken to see that the sword had been dropped on its tip and slight blunted.

The only damaged piece that I’ve kept and not returned was the show version of Needle, Arya Stark’s sword from Game of Thrones, and the only reason why I didn’t was because it was serial number 2. Was Gandalfs pipe 14' or 18' The Noble Collection has a 9' but that seems kinda short compared to whats shown in the movies. I feel shattered when I see someone get a new piece for their collection and it comes in broken. Im thinking about getting a Churchwarden pipe and stand that looks similar to Gandalfs. I shipped my staff back & they received it on the 8th & they refunded my money, but idiot me forgot to tell my card to approve the transaction so they called me to this morning to tell me that they were trying to send it but my card declined them. Of course, all of this doesn't matter if it doesn't smoke well, but this is by far my favourite pipe to smoke - it just feels easy to enjoy and provides a relaxing smoking experience, not to mention something to admire whilst you're smoking.Hey everyone! So quick update. It feels great quality to the touch, sturdy and elegant.

The darker and deeper browns of the bowl, the mottled complexion of the stem and the honeyed amber of the mouthpiece combine to make this piece really striking in its colours and the way it catches the light. The pipe itself is a thing of absolute beauty and is evidence of some really impressive craftsmanship. It's a great first impression, so hats off to Vauen for thinking of the wider experience when designing this. Now, I was not expecting the box and pouch to be of such good quality - it really does add to the whole experience and the pipe pouch is extremely handy when I take this out and about on hikes etc. Here's the measurements from the site if you're interested: This pipe takes 9mm filters - I use filters when I smoke and the fact that 90% of my pipes are 9mm makes this very easy. In regards to material: the bowl is briar, the stem is beech, with an acrylic mouthpiece. I've purchased a Vauen before - my first pipe was an entry level briar, and I was seriously impressed with the quality of that, so my expectations were quite high considering the price difference between the two. I was deliberating for a good while over buying this pipe - it wasn't cheap by any means and I was weighing up a few options, such as a new Savinelli, for around the same price - even though I am very much a Tolkien fan and this was the driving factor in purchasing, I thought it might be more of a funny talking piece than an excellent smoking experience I'm very happy to say that this isn't the case.
